February has come and gone. I spent most of my time watching Survival Shows this month. Along with other random things.
My family started on the latest season of Youth With You, Season 3. I actually joined IQIYI's VIP so we can watch things as it comes out and at 1080 resolution. The free is at 720 and is noticable. So far, we all like similar trainees. And in general, we dislike the same people too.
I also started to watch Chuang 2021. I think the nickname is Produce Camp 2021. At the moment, the concept of inviting a bunch of non-Chinese based is interesting. I am not caught up in general on this one. But its only in its second week out. I will say that based on just the first week, the more talented folks went to Youth With You 3.
Befor it was Youth With You, it was called Idol Producer. My whole family is watching this during our breaks from Youth With You 3. I already watched it last fall after Youth With You 2. Even though we already know who forms Nine Percent, we are still interested in their journey. We see many of the folks on this show on other shows nowadays.
For whatever reason, I had this show on in the background for the first couple of episodes and didn't really get into it. But by episode 3, I really started to enjoy this alot. It might be because of Wilber Pan but I also liked the stars they had coming week after week. I liked it more and more and was sad it ended at episode 10. I hope they bring the same hosts back for season 3.
For whatever reason, I saw this in my history and played episode 1 again and than another and than another. At only 8 episodes, I really enjoyed this show. I liked how formed groups got to battle each other and some of their songs are stuck in my head.
I basically go back and re-watch the songs from episode 7 and 9 over and over again. I just put it on as I prep for dinner or wash the dishes. One of my favorite music shows of late.
We started the auditions for some reason and have not been able to finish. I think it is because I was interested in the Li Wen Han when I started. But stopped at the theme song.
With IQIYI VIP, we have access to the VIP episodes. Which got us to re-watch the main episodes with the VIP episodes. It is fun to see the things they left out of the episodes. We just wish there was maybe 10-15 minutes more to watch from the VIP episode.
