Street Kings - 正義悍將
Street Kings (正義悍將) is a 2008 film. The movie stars Keanu Reeves and Chris Evans. The supporting cast include Forest Whitaker and Hugh Laurie. The movie is based on James Ellroy's book, The Night Watchman.
Keanu plays an dirty cop named Tom Ludlow. Tom does the dirty work for the LAPD's top brass. However, Tom is still very loyal to his fellow men in blue. When one of them is taken out, he's set on bringing the men behind it down. Chris Evans is recruited to help him track them down. And very much like the conspiracy theory in Day Break, the dirty men are in it for the power.
The movie is very dark. You need to follow all the clues to keep up. This would be the modern equivalent of L.A. Confidential. However, the movie doesn't present as much of an entertaining story. A good movie to watch while washing dishes.
