Xian Zi - Roses in the wind
(Xianzi - Roses in the wind) was released this month in Taipei. I recently picked it up from my local media outlet in true CD form. I was going to take pictures, the the facebook page has the whole thing.
I've gotten through most of the songs and have repeated some. The majority of the CD is more "rock". Not pop rock, but more rock. Which isn't too big a step away from 天真/Innocent. But it is still a step away. However the music, the constant is Xian Zi and her eclectic spin on it. Not too powerful of a voice, but pure sound none the less. And it does help to be super beautiful and talented at the same time.

Black And White Episode 1: The Dawn of Assault - Upcoming 2
The gang over at Black And White are wishing you a Merry Christmas! Seems that I can't get away from the media coverage of this movie recently within the Taiwan entertainment realm. It's not like tebow coverage, but it seems to pop up all over the place.
Unfortunately, the coverage hasn't all been positive. Ivy Chen, the main female lead in the television series was cut out of the movie due to "length" issues. Haha. Yeah right. Everyone's saying that nothing was behind it. If you look into it, there's some politics that were unfortunately involved.
And Angelababy is reportedly behaving badly by refusing to help promote the film. DRAMA!!
But I can't wait for this movie to come out! Man, I can't wait for it. Just screen it here in LA already!

Lovesick - Upcoming
(Lovesick) is being released in Taipei this weekend. The movie stars Ariel Lin and Wilson Chen. Lin plays a gal who's been hurt from a previous relationship to meeting Chen, a doctor she magically meets at an hospital. Insert other fun hijinx to connect these two and you've got a Taiwanese rom-com. Nice. Or not. Production value looks good and it also has an who's who of other Taiwanese celebs.
