Fury - 怒火特攻隊

Fury (怒火特攻隊) is 2014 film. The film stars Brad Pitt. The rest of the cast include Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal. The movie takes place during the end of World War II, in April 1945.



Brad Pitt and his tank troupe have survived many battle over the last few years. The tank itself is called Fury and is sent on a multiple missions during the film and engages in both tank battles, hand to hand, and gun to gun battles. Without giving away too much of the plot, one of the gunman on the tank is decapitated and is given a replacement. This replacement is 8 weeks in the service with no training and was a clerk prior to be shipped out to Germany. The veteran troupe now has to survive battles with a "green" solider.

This movie was both raw and exciting. The action of war mixed with humans in extreme conditions and their reaction to war. When life and death are at stake, people are willing to look past their belief system and enact survival instincts.

Brad Pitt gives a very controlled performance. As the head of a troupe that has survived more battles than most, they the troupe trust their lives to each other. The banter of the troupes as they go from battle to battle shows how tight they are and later shows how they can lay down their lives for each other.

One of the better films of 2014 and one of the better WWII films around.
