賽德克 - 巴萊(上):太陽旗 (Seediq Bale 1) is being released in Taipei today. TODAY! After years of anticipation, the follow up film from acclaimed Cape No. 7 director Wei Te-sheng is here.
Seediq Bale is ~4 hours long. Because of its length, the movie was split into 2 parts. Part 2 is coming out on September 30th, only three weeks away. The film is based on the Wushe Incident of Taiwan history.
Can this movie become the number 1 movie of the land, surpassing Wei's predecessor Cape No. 7? You're The Apple Of My Eye is already breaking records.
