Stanley is a scout for the Sixers and travels the world to see potential draft picks. Stanley is finally made an assistant coach by the owner. When the owner dies, the son takes over and returns Stanley to the scouting world again. Stanley can return back to coaching only when he provides a winning draft pick. Can Stanley transform this hidden gem into NBA material?

I caught Hustle on Netflix and was not planning on finishing it in one sitting. I just wanted to see if it was interesting. It was so interesting that finished it in one sitting. Adam is like fine wine, he's not pretending to be in his 40s or even 30s. Adam has embraced that he's going to play 50s and beyond now. Like Tom and Liam, Adam is going to keep getting his movies out because he is that good.

Top Gun: Maverick - 捍衛戰士:獨行俠

Top Gun: Maverick (捍衛戰士:獨行俠) is an 2022 film. the movie stars Tom Cruise. Does it matter who else is in there? Of course. The supporting cast include Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Monica Barbaro, and Lewis Pullman. Ed Harris and Val Kilmer make more cameo like appearances in the movie. This movie is a sequel to the orignal Top Gun movie released in 1986 directed by Tony Scott.



Top Gun Maverick takes place years after the 1986 Top Gun movie. Maverick has now become a Navy test pilot. When a test goes haywire, he is assigned back to the Top Gun school for a mission as his last stop. Not to give too much away, how will Maverick take on this new challenge? Will he come out as the Top Gun?

I caught this at a local AMC in IMAX and it was worth it. The sound itself needs a real movie sound system. I can't imagine getting the same experience at home. It was pretty full but no clapping or any ohs and ahs that I noticed. The soundtrack was really good as it did re-use some of the music from the 1986 film. However, one of the things about the music was that it had a "ding", which really made me think about Taco Bell. I did get over it an forgo my desire for a Mexican Pizza.

This movie was originally set for release back in June 2020. Due to the pandemic, the release dated changed many times before setting down in May 2022. The movie itself was mainly filmed in 2018 with reshoots in 2019. That means these actors are 4 years younger than they were when the movie was offically released. I am just glad they got a release date that they did not change.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness - 奇異博士2:失控多重宇宙

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness (奇異博士2:失控多重宇宙) is an 2022 film. The movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen. The supporting cast include Benedict Wong and Xochitl Gomez. The extended supporting cast include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Patrick Stewart, Hayley Atwell, Lashana Lynch, Anson Mount, and John Krasinski. This a sequel to the 2016 film, Dr. Strange (奇異博士). It is also connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

America Chavez is on the run with Doctor Strange. But we come to find out that this Doctor Strange is not the one we have come to know, but another one. We find out that that this Doctor Strange is from another universe. America Chavez gets connected to the Doctor Strange of our universe. From that point on, they try to solve the mystery of the monster going after America. Can our Doctor Strange do what the other Strange's could not?

This movie was full of stuff. Like stuff. So much stuff. Because it goes from one universe to the other, you will have to follow very intently. Like use all your mental energy just to follow. I thought of myself as a MCU expert, but I was confused from time to time and had to look up things when I got home. But as I sat back and thought about it more, the more I liked it. So, weeks after, I like this movie more. Will I get a chance to watch again before Disney+, most likely not.

UPDATE: Disney+ just annouced that they will be getting this on June 22nd. Guess I am waiting for Disney+. Top Gun is my priority if I can even get out to watch it.

2022 June Amazon Prime Video Releases

June is looking like a good month for Amazon Prime Video. I recently just finished Boys Season 2 after a having a hard time getting through the first couple of episodes. However, I thought that it had to do all the lame set up to make a spectacular finish.

Not sure if I'll catch all the other things on the list. I am pretty backed up on my Zhong Gun and Taiwan dramas.
