女孩壞壞 - Bad Girls - Upcoming

女孩壞壞 (Bad Girls) is being released in Taipei next week. The movie stars Ella and Mike He. While filming a film, the two leads fall for each other. Seems like a straight forward romantic comedy. I am in.

Futute X-Cops -- 未來警察

Futute X-Cops (未來警察) is a 2010 film out of Hong Kong staring Andy Lau, Barbie Hsu (大S), Fan Bing Bing, and Mike He.

In the future, 2080, Andy Lau is the chief of a team of cops set to protect a scientist. Fan Bing Bing and Andy are a couple but in the process of protecting the scientist, the wife is killed. But the bad guys find a way to go back in time. But in order to do that, you have to be a cyborg with limited human organs. Andy is transformed into a super cyborg and sent into the past to protect the young scientist.



The movie was pretty weird. It felt slapped together. There seemed to be gaps that just assumed you knew what happened. The acting from Andy felt early 90s when all he did was smile a whole lot and looked surprised. 大S and Andy's romance seemed way icky.

I had high hopes due to its sci-fi nature, but was ultimately let down.

換換愛 - Why Why Love

換換愛 (Why Why Love) is 2007 drama out of Taiwan. It stars Rainie Yang, Michelle Chen, Mike He, and Kingone Wang.

Rainie plays a cheap, caring, and genuine character named Jia Di. Jia Di works for a department store. That department store's owner has two sons played by Kingone and Mike He, Huo Da, Huo Yan. So, two rich guys with lots of issues. Jia Di's best friend is Xiao Nan played by the lovely Michelle Chen.

The drama goes for 15 episodes and is a classic, poor girl, rich guys drama. Girl falls for one, than the other. But other rich girls get in the way. Family gets in the way. Misunderstandings are a given and everyone seems to NOT be communicating with each other.

I like the series a lot and it was a breeze to watch. I don't recall even fast forwarding anything.

A note on the Chinese and English titles. The Chinese is translated to Change Change Love or Exchange Love. So, I don't understand the "why".
