The Bourne Legacy (神鬼認證4) is an 2012 film. The movie stars Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, and Edward Norton. The film is based around the same timeframe as the third Bourne film, Ultimatum. But the story follows someone else.
We're exposed to gov't programs looking to enhance soliders for warfare. In this case, Jeremy Renner plays Aaron Cross, an operative in a secret soldier program that modifies chromosomes. This program takes dumb people and genetically modifies their smart gene, turning them into soldiers of mass destruction. When the Bourne events unravel in parallel, the other gov't secret programs come under fire. Aaron Cross is scheduled for termination, lethal termination. In order to permanently stay smart, he must finish the rest of the program. Cross set is sight on the scientist he had contact with. They head out to Pinoy land and have lots of fun!
This movie was pretty fun to watch. Lots of action, secret gov't talk, and they spend half the movie in Manilla. Yay! The fighting is top notch and they do the film series justice.
