Jeremy Lin's NBA Season Is Over

Jeremy Lin's 2012-2013 NBA campaign came to a halt two weekends ago. The Houston Rockets were beat 4-2 by OKC. Jeremy Lin did not have a good series and missed Games 4 and 5, both wins for the Houston Rockets. In what was typical of the regular, it carried over into the playoffs. Jeremy Lin played limited minutes and the offense was lead by Harden and Parsons.

The season was extremely frustrating for me to watch. Of the 82 games Jeremy Lin played in the regular season, I prolly watched about 70 of them. I also re-watched some games of his where he scored over 20 points, which was very rare. The Houston coaching staff should be turned around. I hope some massive changes are made because the current coaching staff does not utilize Jeremy Lin. During the season, there was a comment made by Jeremy Lin about being "allergic" to the 4th quarters.

This isn't the Sam Cassell and Kenny Smith days. Kenny Smith was the crafty veteran in the twilight of his career. Cassell was the future PG and was groomed and ended the 4th quarters. Jeremy Lin IS the PG, but rarely finished the game or even play beyond 30 minutes during a long stretch of the season while he was playing well.

It's been frustrating year for me in terms of NBA anyways. Being a LA Lakers fan, they were suppose to challenge for the #1 seed of the whole NBA before the season started. But didn't even make it into the playoff picture until end of February. Add that to the Clippers great December and subsequent collapse. Still have hope GS will make it far.

I include the above image because that was often the image I would see when on any NBA pages like Yahoo, ESPN, etc. Guess who ppl want to see?! Jeremy Lin, rockets, you suck. I will cancel NBA league pass next year if you pull that crap again!
