Sully (薩利機長:哈德遜奇蹟) is an 2016 film. The movie stars Tom Hanks as Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger. The supporting cast include Aaron Eckhart, Laura Linney, Anna Gunn, Autumn Reeser, Holt McCallany, Jamey Sheridan, and Jerry Ferrara. Sully is the captain of the airplane that landed safely in the Hudson River. The movie is directed by Clint Eastwood.
Movie starts with the landing in the Hudson River. After that, it start to go back in time to when they got on the plane and the crash landing. They than come to the present than transition to the investigation of the crash landing. The ending is base on true events and you know Sully by name now.
The movie is classic Eastwood. Eastwood is like fine wine, getting better with time. This comes on the heals of another one of my favorite films, American Sniper(美國狙擊手). I didn't like this one as much, but liked it. Sully's been on a few cable channels since and I've watched here and there. I do stop and watch a little.
I would recommend this movie if you are interested in the real life event it portrays and also if you're a Eastwood fan.
