I, Frankenstein (科學怪人:屠魔大戰) is an 2014 film. The movie stars Aaron Eckhart. The supporting cast include Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, and Jai Courtney. The movie is based on the Frankenstein's monster story from 1818.
Aaron is created as the Frankenstein monster in 1795. However, Frankenstein tried to destroy it, out for revenge, he kills Frankenstein's bride and heads north. Frankenstein freezes to death. The monster brings him back to his family burial spot. There, demons attack him and he is saved by gargoyles. There's a war between gargoyle and demons. Gargoyle's are the soldiers of Archangel Michael. 200 past and he is finally found and he now decides to go after the demons.
This movie felt very "cult"-y. Like they didn't know the high "cheese" amount and that it was rather entertaining. I like these types of movies and wish there was a bigger market for it. But when you try it as a big budget movie, its hard to pull off. I enjoyed it, you might too if you like fantasy sci-fi in modern times.
