Natalie Nakase is an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Clippers. Wow. So, this is unprecedented. First, Natalie is female. The NBA is male dominated and Natalie is the first female to sit at on bench. Second, Natalie is Asian-American. Two things that the NBA has had a history if making things hard for. I am not even going to bring up the WNBA.
Read the articles and watch the Clippers summer league games. Its awesome. I want to thank the Clipper organization for seeing Natalie's talents and coach Rivers for breaking barriers. As an local LA product of UCLA, I hope she does make it somewhere someday.
