Piranha 3D (3D食人魚) is a 2010 film. The film stars Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Jerry O'Connell, and Ving Rhames. The movie is a remake of the original 1978 version. I saw this version on Blu-ray without 3D.
The movie is about a bunch of pre-historic piranha's that are released into a lake after a slight earthquake breeches a encapsulated water cave. But guess what, these creatures get out right around spring break and the town is crazy busy with young people. Guess what? That's a lot of bodies for these fair creatures to feed off. Let the hijinx begin.
The movie is a guilty pleasure movie to its max. You got your spring break theme. You've got cheezy lines. You've got your over the top antagonist. What more is there not to like?
