The Social Network (社群網戰) is a 2010 film. The movie stars Jesse Eisenberg. The supporting cast include Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, and Brenda Song. The film was one of the most highly regarded films of 2010. Making multiple top ten list and doing very well on the awards circuit.
The movie starts at Harvard when Mark Zuckerberg makes a rating site overnight and "micro" blogs about it. Within hours, the site crashes the servers and he gains notoriety around campus. This notoriety brings the Winklevoss brothers to ask him to start an exclusive Harvard site. Which Zuckerberg instead makes into "The Facebook". From there, he enlist the help Eduardo Saverin to help fund his new venture. Thus, begins the story of Facebook and the story of Mark Zuckerberg.
The movie was one of the best of 2010 for me as well. Well made and Jesse pulls off an amazing Zuckerberg. It doesn't matter if the portrayal took liberties, Jesse drew you in. If you're not a techie, it doesn't matter, the reference have been "layman" down for you. As a professional in the website business, there's no such thing as a zone, but it's nice play on "heads down" programming.
