Bloody Ties (死生決斷) is a 2006 film out of Korea. A unscrupulous police officer is trying to bust up a drug ring in his city and uses a street level drug dealer to get what he wants.
This movie had quite a few disturbing themes. Both characters featured are scum bags and there is no redeeming quality to their lives. At the end of the film, I hated both of them and wish them the worst of luck. I am surprised I made it to the end.
Bloody Ties and City of Violence are the main reason I haven't watched as many Korean movies since early 2007. There's nothing that makes me like the main characters. If that is the case, why make the investment to watch this crap?
